Adult Learning
Learning is a full time Jewish occupation. Sadly, most of us don’t have a chance to learn after becoming bar or bat mitzvah. Temple Beth Jacob has a wide array of opportunities for adults to learn on an adult level and connect deeply with our 4000 year old heritage. Weekly we have Torah study for an hour (Shabbat mornings, 9:30 to 10:30). We have classes that go from one week specials to full year and everything in between. Often a guest speaker is invited. None of our classes require any prior knowledge. All of our classes are for all of our community. Intermarried couples particular enjoy learning or re-learning the meaning behind what we do.
